Tasty Communion Bread

¾ C. Milk – scald (just before boiling)

1 egg – beaten

¼ C. honey

2 ½ C. flour

¼ C. butter, melted

1 tsp. salt

 

Beat milk, honey and butter together.  Add egg.  Gradually add 2 C. flour, about ½ C at a time. And blend well after each time.  Add salt.  Keep adding flour until just barely sticky.  Lay out on a floured board.  Cut into small pieces and place on baking sheet covered with parchment or wax paper.  Bake in 375 degree oven for  15-20 minutes.
